
KCB is a financial service provider with its headquarters based in Nairobi, Kenya. KCB is licensed by the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) which is the national banking regulator. Just like most financial institutions, KCB also has a mobile banking service dubbed KCB Mobile Banking. This service allows its customers to get loans, send/receive money, buy airtime, buy KPLC tokens, and pay for DSTV/GOTV, Startimes, and Jambo jet among other services in the palm of their hands.

To use the banking service;
- Dial *522# or
- Download the KCB App on Google Playstore or App Store
Does KCB app work on iPhone?
The KCB app is available for iPhone users at the App Store
- Download the KCB app from the App store
- Install the app and follow the activation process
- Enter the phone number you’ve registered with for KCB Mobile Banking

- Go to option no. 8- My Account
- Select Activate iPhone App
- You’ll receive an SMS with the activation code. this code is only active for 5 minutes
- Enter the activation and complete your activation process
- Once the App has been successfully activated, you can make the transactions
KCB Android App
- Download the KCB App from Google PlayStore
- Install and launch the App
- Enter the phone number you’ve registered with for KCB Mobile Banking
- Enter your mobile banking pin
- Give the app the required permissions
- You’ll receive an SMS with the activation code to authorize the activation request (Allow the app to automatically read the notifications as it authenticates your mobile number)
- Once the authentication is complete, the app will be successfully acivated
- Proceed to transact
Furthermore, You can send up to Ksh 150,000 per transaction and the daily transfer limit is Ksh 300,000.
Also, transferring money from your bank account to M-Pesa or Vooma is free. This also applies when transferring money from your M-Pesa to a Bank account.
Additionally, Checking the balance for your KCB account is free, and Buying KPLC tokens.
