Samsung unveiled Samsung Galaxy A53 5G alongside Samsung A33 5G. Samsung has continued to increase their A series smartphones picking up from where they left last year.
Both the Samsung A33 and A53 have the same design making them almost indistinguishable.
The A53 weighs 189 grams and is 8.1mm thick.
Just like the Samsung A33 5G, it comes with the latest Google’s Android 12 with One UI 4.1
Compared to its predecessor, The A53 5G has a lower price with a starting price of $450 which is $50 less than the A52 5G. It also has an improved 64MP camera sensor. The new sensor is expected to result in better detail and color as well as low light performance.
Samsung A53 5G has a 6.5-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate-Flat FHD and Gorilla Glass 5 with a pixel density of 407ppi.

Another similar thing just like the A33 5G is the Exynos 1280 (5nm) chipset and it also comes with either 6GB or 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. It also supports expandable storage of up to 1TB via microSD.
The camera department is where we see improvement with the A53’s new 64MP sensor.
64MP wide (f1.8 aperture / OIS)
12MP ultra-wide (f2.2 aperture)
5MP macro (f2.4 aperture)
5MP depth sensor (f2.4 aperture)
At the front is a 32MP selfie camera (f2.2 aperture)
The main camera shoots 4K videos @30fps, 1080p@30/60fps, the front camera also shoots 4K@ videos 30fps, 1080p@30fps.
Unfortunately no headphone jerk on this one.
Samsung A53 5G is powered by a 5000mAh battery and supports fast charging at 25W.
It comes in four different colors Black, White, Blue, and Pink.
Another thing to note is Samsung brings photo editing options from its more premium phones to the A53 5G, such as tools for erasing unwanted background objects and remastering old photos.
